ARKTIS-ARKTIS TAPES-1975-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-BON BON-BBR7502. Mega rare short-run original of one of the key prog albums of the 70s. Arktis - Arktis Tapes 1975. The second album of the band from Bonn. Unfortunately, the first album did not find a "buyer", and in 1974, with the assistance of Konrad Planck, Arktis recorded a second demo album, released in may 1975 with a circulation of 500 copies-again for promotion purposes. The music here is somewhat restrained, but no less attractive and covering. In this music, you can feel not only a craving for art-rock (prolonged instrumental pieces), but also the sprouts of guitar technique, characteristic of what in the next decade was called "heavy metal". One critic wrote a scathing note: If such an album had been released in 1969 or 1970, they would have been at the top with Black Sabbath and LED ZEPPELIN , and now the time is gone. KLAUS VOORMANN-DECIDE OF ETERNITY-1973-LITHOGRAPH LIMITED 29/260-GERMANY.  A rare signature limited-edition lithograph by KLAUS VOORMAN is called "the Decade of eternity" . He created it in 1973 during the period of life in America. Longing for the years of the BEATLES ' existence, he draws a work where he put a piece of each BEATLES album. Klaus Voormann; b. April 29, 1938, Berlin-German Grammy award-winning artist, well-known musician and record producer. He created graphic works for the design of recordings of many musical groups, including the Beatles, the Bee Gees, Wet Wet Wet and Turbonegro. His best-known work as a producer is with the band Trio, including their world-famous hit "Da Da Da". As a musician, foreman is best known as the bass player for the Manfred Mann band from 1966 to 1969, and for participating as a session musician in recording sessions for many bands and artists, including former members of the Beatles. His acquaintance and collaboration with the Beatles dates back to their performances in Hamburg in the early 1960s. Later in London, he lived in the band's apartment with George Harrison and Ringo Starr, after John Lennon and Paul McCartney moved out of it to live with their then partners. Foreman created the cover art for the album Revolver, for which he was awarded a Grammy award in 1966 for "Best Album Cover, Graphic Arts"; this was the first time that anyone was awarded for a cover with a drawing rather than a photo. After the band split, rumors circulated about forming an ensemble called the Ladders with Lennon, Harrison, Starr, and foreman (instead of McCartney on bass). The rumors didn't come true, except that all four failed Ladders (along with Billy Preston) participated in Ringo Starr's recording of the song "I'm the Greatest" written for Starr by Lennon, which was included on the Ringo album. Foreman played on albums by Lennon, Harrison, Starr, and was a member of the Plastic Ono Band for a while. In the 1990s, foreman designed albums for the Beatles Anthology. in 2009, foreman released his debut solo album a Sideman's Journey, featuring many famous musicians, including Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, United under the name "Voormann and Friends» ...more

QUEEN-AT THE BEEB-1973-FIRST UK PRESS 1989-QUEEN PROD.-BOJLP001. Rare British original released only in 1989. At the Beeb is a live album by English rock band Queen, released in 1989. The album At the Beeb was released on vinyl, cassette and CD. In the USA the album was released under the title Queen at The BBC on compact disc and with a different cover. The album includes recording 8 songs that were recorded on the program "Sound of the 70s" Radio station BBC Radio 1. The first four were recorded February 5, 1973, the remaining 3 December the same year. All tracks, except one, from the album "Queen", only the song "Ogre Battle" from the album "Queen II". The songs are not performed as they then appeared on the albums. They played in this variant, which they later performed at concerts. The recording of "Ogre Battle" was a corrupted entry, so in the beginning minute of the song had to be cut. ...more
