Mega rare British original in top condition. Acquiring the Taste is the second studio album by the British rock band Gentle Giant, released in 1971 by Vertigo Records. It was a departure from the blues and soul styles found on their self-titled debut. It was more experimental, more dissonant, and with more diverse instrumentation. In the sleeve text, the band made this famous statement:Our goal is to expand the boundaries of modern popular music, at the risk of being very unpopular. We wrote down each essay with one thought in mind-that it should be unique, adventurous and exciting. It took all of our combined musical and technical knowledge. From the outset we have abandoned all preconceived thoughts about the blatant commercialism. Instead, we hope to give you something much more substantial and fulfilling. All you have to do is sit back and get a taste. The album cover has some subtext in that it is made to look like a tongue licking the anus. Was released in August 1989. In August 1989, Gorky Park released their self-titled debut album. Music videos for the songs "My Generation" and "Bang"were shot in New York in support of him. The single "Bang" hit the "top 15" on American MTV and lasted there for two months, reaching number 3. The single "Try to Find Me" reached number 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Gorky Park the first Russian band to enter the US national chart. Very rare Swedish original Spanish-language album. Gracias Por La Música is an album by the Swedish band ABBA, released in 1980. The release of Gracias Por La Música was prompted by the band's unexpected rise in popularity in Latin American countries such as Mexico and Argentina, following the release of Spanish-language versions of the songs " Chiquitita "and"I Have a Dream". The band members decided to record eight more songs in Spanish and release a full-length album specifically for this market. Buddy and Mary McCluskey, who worked at RCA Records in Argentina, were invited to translate the lyrics. The tracks were recorded in January 1980 at Polar Music Studios, with lead vocalists Agnete Faltskoog and Anni-Frid Lingstad assisted by Spanish-Swedish journalist Ana Martinez. The soundtracks of the songs, some of which date back to 1974-1975, have been modified to give them a more modern sound.
