Until 1991, it existed only as a tape album, distributed by copying. Included in the book by Alexander Kushnir "100 magnetoalbums of Soviet rock" The recording was made on June 7-10, 1981. The sound engineer was Alexander "Artem" Arutyunov. The album was mixed on the spot.  The songs "In life, like in a dark thicket", "Who's to Blame?" and "I used to wander alone" were first recorded in 1979 on the first album. A total of 9 songs were recorded. E Pluribus Funk is the fifth studio album by American rock band Grand Funk Railroad. The album was released on November 15, 1971, by Capitol Records. Like the previous Grand Funk Railroad albums, it was recorded at the Cleveland Recording Company and is the last album produced by Terry Knight. The name is a play on the United States motto, E pluribus unum, and is Latin for "Out of many, Funk". The original exhaust cover (designed by Ernie Cefalu) was perfectly round and covered with a silver film that resembled a large coin.
