Released in 1993, the album was presented as a musical and literary treatment of the songs of Manuel Garcia Rodriguez El Mocambo — a fictional musician, invented by the band specifically for the release of the album. The newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets" noted that the album "although not a creative achievement, but it turned out even better than you could expect." The album was highly appreciated by music critic and journalist Mikhail Kozyrev.
