JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE-ELECTRIC LADYLAND-1968 ORIGINAL PRESS 1973 UK-POLYDOR - 2310269-70. A very early reissue of the album with a re-recorded sound. Electric Ladyland is the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968.Recording the album was accompanied by constant difficulties. After a troubled tour of Scandinavia and England, Hendricks decided to move to the US. Disillusioned with the creative limitations of record companies, he set up his own Studio in new York city, where he could implement all his musical ideas. The construction of the Studio was accompanied by problems, and its construction was finally completed only in the mid-70s.As a result, Jimi recorded the bulk of the material at the Record Plant studios. Due to difficulties in his relationship with the band's bassist, Noel reading, Jimi played most of the bass guitar parts himself, including the bass solo on "1983". During the recording of "All Along the Watchtower", reading went to a nearby bar, Hendrix took his bass and recorded the song."Voodoo Chile "was recorded during Hendrix's late-night jam session featuring Mitch Mitchell, Steve Winwood on Hammond organ, and Jack Casady on bass guitar; it served as the basis for" Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", recorded the following day. The double album "Electric Ladyland" revealed the full breadth of Hendrix's musical talent. It includes samples of every genre of music from psychedelia ("Burning of the Midnight Lamp") to Blues guitar jam ("Voodoo Chile"), 50s-style rock and roll ("Little Miss Strange") and the epic" A Merman I Should Turn to Be", which can be considered an early example of progressive rock. Hendrix also recorded a cover version of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower", which many (including Dylan himself) call the best version of this song."Electric Ladyland" reached number one on the US charts; the UK version only reached number five. In 1998, readers of Q magazine ranked "Electric Ladyland" as the 22nd greatest album of all time. In 2002, the album was ranked # 8 in the "100 best rock albums of all time" by Classic Rock magazine

AGATHA CHRISTIE-DECADENCE-1991-FIRST PRESS OF THE USSR-SINTEZ-1-036-C-6. A rare original of the cult album. "Decadence" is the third studio album by the Soviet rock band "Agatha Christie", recorded in the Sverdlovsk "Studio 8" in 1990. The album turned out to be less well-known (but more complex in sound) than the previous ones, after its release, the band had a creative pause that lasted until 1992. An interesting feature of the songs of this album were quite large in volume and unusual in meaning lyrics (for the first time in the history of the band, they all belonged to the pen of one member — Gleb Samoilov, only one of the lyrics was written by the keyboardist of the group Alexander Kozlov). The music became more relaxed. Famous songs — "Machine Gun Maxim", "Sleeper", "Decadence" and "Motorcycle". ...more
