ARIA-HERO OF ASPHALT-1988-FIRST PRESS USSR-MELODIA-C6027413000. A rare original of the cult album. Hero of Asphalt is the third studio album by Aria. This is the first album after the split of the band in early 1987, "Hero of Asphalt" is also the first album officially released by "Melody", the two previous albums at that time existed and were distributed as tape albums only on tape cassettes. The album was a great success, its sales exceeded 1 million copies (which in the United States corresponds to the platinum status), but the exact circulation is unknown even to the company "Melody", although, according to her, at least 1.5 million records were printed.On this album, for the first time, all the lyrics were written by Margarita Pushkina, and Alexander Elin, who wrote the lyrics to previous albums, left for the Master group and did not work with Aria until 2001.In 2008, a concert tour was held in honor of the 20th anniversary of the album, which resulted in the release of a double live album and a concert video "Hero of Asphalt XX years". The original album line-up performed at the concert and all the pieces were performed in the same order. In May 2012, as a result of a vote held on the website openspace.ru, the album "Hero of Asphalt" took the first position in the list of 50 major records of "Melody" and on April 23, 2013 was re-released on vinyl in a limited edition of 500 copies as part of the project "Melody-50", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the company.
