Sweet Fanny Adams is Sweet's second album, their first of two released in 1974, as well as their first album simply as Sweet. This album was a turning point and a change in the sound of the band. It had more of a hard rock sound than their previous pop albums. Sweet Fanny Adams reached number 27 on the UK Albums chart in the year of its release by RCA Records in 1974 and number 2 on the West German Albums chart. It was not released in the United States, but five of her tracks appeared on the American version of the album Desolation Boulevard, released in July 1975.

This is the first album after the split of the band in early 1987, "Hero of Asphalt" is also the first album officially released by "Melody", the two previous albums at that time existed and were distributed as tape albums only on tape cassettes. Let's Dance is the 15th studio album by English singer David Bowie, released on April 14, 1983 by EMI . After the release of the album Scary Monsters (1980), Bowie began a period of numerous musical collaborations and film performances. During this time, he also left RCA Records due to dissatisfaction. After signing a contract with EMI in late 1982, Bowie decided that he wanted to start all over again, and chose Nile Rodgers from the rock disco band Chic to co-produce his next record.
