A very rare British original of the iconic album by the blues progressive British band. Lie Back and Enjoy It is the second album by British-American blues rock band Juicy Lucy, released in 1970. Although several members of the band have been replaced since the release of their first album, most notably singer Ray Owen and lead guitarist Neil Hubbard, the album is considered a very strong follow-up to the first album.. Most of the songs were written by the band, although the album contains added Willie Dixon songs "Built for Comfort" and cover versions of Frank Zappa's song "Willie the Pimp". The album peaked at number 53 on the UK Albums Chart in November 1970

It is the band's fourth album released in the US and the third in the UK. The versions of the album released in the US and in the UK differ in the covers and the list of songs. The American version of the album was released on July 30, 1965 by London Records, and the British version was released on September 24, 1965, by Decca Records. The album was originally released in the United States. The album cover shows a photo taken during the same photo shoot as the photos that appeared on the covers of the albums 12 X 5 and The Rolling Stones No. 2. The album was the result of six months of work by the band. It includes songs that later became hits, such as "The Last Time" and, which became world famous, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction", previously released only on the band's live EP Got Live If You Want It!. The album became the first edition of the band to reach the top of the Billboard 200 chart, and subsequently received platinum status in the United States. It was adapted from the play "Porgy" by Dorothy Hayward and Dubose Hayward, which is itself an adaptation of the 1925 novel of the same name by Dubose Hayward. Porgy and Bess was first performed in Boston on September 30, 1935, before moving to Broadway in New York.[1] It featured a cast of classically trained African-American singers—a bold artistic choice at the time. After an initially unpopular public reception, the 1976 production of the Houston Grand Opera brought her new popularity, and she is now one of the most famous and frequently performed operas. In 1976, Ray Charles and Cleo Lane recorded an album of excerpts for RCA Victor, in which the two of them performed several roles. The album was arranged and conducted by Frank De Vol. It featured Joe Sample's organ, Harry Edison's trumpet, and guitar work by Joe Pass and Lee Ritenour. Until 1991, it existed only as a magnetoalbum, being distributed by copying. Included in the book by Alexander Kushnir "100 magnetoalbums of Soviet rock", The recording was made on June 7-10, 1981. The sound engineer was Alexander "Artem" Arutyunov. The album was mixed on the spot.  The songs "In life, as in a Dark thicket", "Who's to Blame?" and "I used to wander one" were first recorded in 1979 on the first album. A total of 9 songs were recorded. The recording took place on tape recorders in Hollywood, California, on June 10, 11, 12, and Presley's vocal overdubs-on June 15, 1964.
