Clambake is the sixteenth soundtrack album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley, released by RCA Victor in mono and stereo, LPM/LSP 3893, in October 1967. This is the soundtrack to the 1967 film of the same name starring Presley. He entered RCA Studio B in Nashville, Tennessee on February 21, 1967 for recording sessions for his twenty-fifth film. Additional sessions of materials were held on September 10 and 11, 1967. It peaked at number 40 on the Billboard 200.

Ball is the third studio album by the rock band Iron Butterfly, released on January 17, 1969. After the huge success of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, Iron Butterfly slightly changed its acid-rock sound and experimented with more melodic compositions. However, the band's signature heavy guitars are still noticeable on tracks such as "In the Time of Our Lives" and "It Must Be Love". Closing Time is the debut album by American singer-songwriter Tom Waits, released on March 6, 1973 on the Asylum Records label. Produced and arranged by former Lovin 'Spoonful member Jerry Yester, Closing Time was the first of Waits' seven major releases from Asylum. The album was moderately successful in the United States, and although it did not chart and received little attention from the music press in the UK and other countries too. This explains that the album began to be re-released in Europe in the second half of the 70s when Tom became a super star. Sweet Fanny Adams is Sweet's second album, their first of two released in 1974, as well as their first album simply as Sweet. This album was a turning point and a change in the sound of the band. It had more of a hard rock sound than their previous pop albums. Sweet Fanny Adams reached number 27 on the UK Albums chart in the year of its release by RCA Records in 1974 and number 2 on the West German Albums chart.
