ALLENTOWN PRESS.  A very rare American original of the cult album. Waiting for the Sun is the third studio album by the American rock band The Doors, released in July 1968. The CD was recorded at Sunset Sound Studio (Los Angeles). It was originally planned that it would be based on a 25-minute composition "The Celebration of Lizard" ("Praise of the Lizard"), but after listening to the recorded material, which only Morrison was satisfied with, this idea had to be abandoned.
