OVERLANDERS-MICHELLE-1965-FIRST PRESS UK-PYE-NPL18138. A rare British original beat band. They released twelve singles on the Pye Record label between 1963 and 1966, but only one major LP. The Overlanders 'only UK hit was a cover of The Beatles' "Michelle". In January 1966, it reached number 1 on the Record Retailers chart (later the UK Singles Chart). In doing so, the single beat off a rival recording of David and Jonathan's "Michelle", whose version was produced by George Martin and featured arrangements by Tony Hatch.  ...more

Mega rare original icon in rock music. The Doors is the debut album by the American band The Doors, recorded in 1966 and released in 1967 (Elektra EKS-74007). It includes the song "Light My Fire" (the solo release of which allowed the band to break into the music charts), significantly expanded instrumentally compared to the single version. The album was released in early 1967. The author of the front cover of the record was Guy Webster (Eng. Guy Webster), the back-Joel Brodsky (Eng. Joel Brodsky), who continued to work with the team after that. The album was recorded on 4-channel equipment, a full stereo version was released later. In January 2007, the American Recording Industry Association (RIAA) awarded the album the status of "four times multi-platinum", which means the sale of more than 4 million legal copies.  In 2015, the album was included in the US National Register of Audio Recordings ...more

Communiqué was recorded in November-December 1978, at Compass Point Studios, Nassau and produced by Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett. The album was the first to debut in the German charts at number 1 in the first week of sales (their debut album Dire Straits was still at number 3 in this country). "Sands" is the ninth "natural" album of the group "Aquarium", consisting mainly of songs from 1975-1986, recorded in 1993. When in the autumn of 1992, "Aquarium" had its own studio at Fontanka, 39, the group had the idea to recreate some songs written by Grebenshchikov in the late 70s-early 80s in their spare time from recording the album "Favorite songs of Ramses IV". Most of the songs of that time were already included in the albums "All Brothers — Sisters" and "Acoustics", but many of them remained unrecorded. A rare American original (Hollywood press), an iconic beat band. It's the Searchers is the third studio album by the English rock band The Searchers. The album of the group's famous singles "needles and pins" and "don't leave my love", as well as cover versions of some famous tracks, originally recorded by Betty Everett ("It's in her kiss"), Carl Perkins ("Glad it's over"), Don Gibson ("sea of grief"), the sinkers ("I count the tears") or Tommy Tucker ("Hi-Heels sneakers").
