The band Tear Gas consisted of musicians who later formed the backbone of The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. At the time of joining Alex Harvey, the band consisted of: vocalist David Batchelor, Hugh McKenna-keyboardist and backing vocalist, bassist Chris Glen, Zal Cleminson-guitar and backing vocals, and Hugh McKenna's brother Ted on drums. The album was the first to debut in the German charts at number 1 in the first week of sales (their debut album Dire Straits was still at number 3 in this country). It reached number 18 on the record charts in the US, number 50 in the UK and number 7 in Australia. Very rare original cult album recorded live at the Royal albert Hall. 24 Nights — recorded live album by Blues-rock musician Eric Clapton, released in 1991. 24 Nights contains selected songs from the 42 Clapton concerts in the hall the Royal albert hall in London. The album was originally planned to be released in 1990, after 18 concerts Eric in the beginning of the year, but the musician was dissatisfied with the recorded material and the gate 24 Nights was delayed. In 1991, Clapton set a record by playing the Royal albert hall 24 nights in a row. The album, with the inclusion of new records that came out a few months later. ...more

A rare British original of the cult prog band. Minstrel in the Gallery is the eighth studio album by the British rock band Jethro Tull, released in September 1975. The album shows the band as returning to a mix of electric and acoustic compositions, thus closer to their early 70s albums such as Benefit (1970), Aqualung(1971) and Thick as a Brick (1972). The album was the first Jethro Tull album recorded outside the UK, in Monte Carlo, Monaco. This was Jethro Tull's last album with bassist Jeffrey Hammond, who left the band after the album's tour ended in late 1975 and was replaced by former Carmen bassist John Glascock. AllMusic has a favorable review stating that the album is "the most artistically successful and carefully crafted album since Thick as a Brick". ...more
