ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album. Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union. The album, like the previous one, was a huge success, placing in the charts of all countries in the top ten. It became multi-platinum in just one year.

Nightflight to Venus is the third studio album by Euro-Caribbean band Boney M., released in July 1978. The album became a major success in continental Europe, Scandinavia and Canada, topping most album charts in the second half of 1978, and also became their first number one album in the UK. In Canada, the album received a nomination for the 1980 Juno Award in the International Album of the Year category. Nightflight to Venus includes the worldwide hits "Rivers of Babylon" and "Brown Girl in the Ring", a two-sided single that topped the UK singles chart and sold over 2 million copies.[4] The sequel was another Boney M. classic, "Rasputin", which in most countries was also performed on the double A side in combination with "Painter Man", a cover version of the 1966 hit by The Creation. Recorded between September 1970 and June 1971, released in September 1971 on Harvest Records. The album was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios (like its predecessor). Compared to Deep Purple in Rock, this album was recorded in a more experimental style. Allmusic named it one of the band's four most important albums, along with Machine Head, In Rock and Burn. Ian Gillan, unlike the rest of the band, considers this album a classic of Deep Purple. Nevertheless, he noticed that the inclusion of "Anyone's Daughter" (in the country style and with humorous lyrics) on the album was fun, but a mistake ("A good bit of fun, but a mistake"). Jon Lord singled out several tracks of the album, such as "No No No" and "Fools", and especially noted Pace's playing in the title track. The track "Strange Kind of Woman", released as a single in February 1971 and rose to number eight in the UK charts. 20,000 copies were sold in the first week.
