Released in August 1989. In August 1989, Gorky Park released their self-titled debut album. Videos for the songs "My Generation" and "Bang" were shot in New York in support of him. The single "Bang" hit the "top 15" on American MTV and lasted there for two months, reaching the 3rd line. The single "Try to Find Me" reached 81 positions on the Billboard Hot 100, making Gorky Park the first Russian band to enter the national American chart. The album itself reached the 80th line in the Billboard 200, in three weeks from the start of sales, the circulation of which exceeded 300 thousand copies. ...more

One of the first rock operas in the USSR, created on the initiative of director Mark Zakharov based on the dramatic cantata by the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda "The Shining and Death of Joaquin Murieta, a Chilean robber killed in California on July 23, 1853." The play was performed on the stage of the Lenkom Theater for 17 seasons and was shown 1050 times.  In 1978, the first record "The Star and the Death of Joaquin Murieta" was released — the main parts were performed by: The Star, Teresa - Jeanne Rozhdestvenskaya; Joaquin Murieta, Death - Gennady Trofimov. TERRE HAUTE PRESS.  A very rare American original of the cult album. Waiting for the Sun is the third studio album by American rock band The Doors, released in July 1968. The CD was recorded at Sunset Sound Studio (Los Angeles). It was originally planned that it would be based on the 25-minute composition "The Celebration of Lizard", but after listening to the recorded material, which only Morrison was satisfied with, this idea had to be abandoned. The album also did not include the title song, which was transferred to the album Morrison Hotel. While working on the album, Morrison often got drunk, which infuriated producer Paul Rothschild. Despite its roughness, as well as a barrage of criticism, the album reached the first line in the national hit parade. ...more

A very rare Canadian original of the cult album. Pendulum is the sixth studio album by American band Creedence Clearwater Revival, recorded at Wally Hyder's studio in San Francisco and released by the Fantasy label in December 1970. Pendulum is the last CCR album to feature rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, who left the band shortly after the album's release. The record demonstrates the group's desire to expand its own stylistic framework, a number of his compositions are musically noticeably more complex than the CCR recordings of the 1968-1969 sample. A rare British original of the cult blues-rock band. They were one of the bands that British Decca (USA, London/Parrot) had a relationship with during difficult times until they started selling records; it took four or five albums until they started selling in the USA. In the late 1960s and 1970s, the band managed to break into the Billboard Hot 100. The 1971 release of Street Corner Talking included the songs "Tell Mama" and "Conversation on the Street Corner". Nevertheless, superstability constantly eluded them, perhaps partly due to frequent changes in the composition. Despite this, their next album Hellbound Train (1972) entered the Top 40 album for them in the USA. In January 1974, the British music magazine NME reported that Stan Webb was joining Savoy Brown after the breakup of Chicken Shack. A very rare British original of the cult group. In 1967, Trinity released their debut album Open on the Gomel Marmalade label, which was intentionally recorded "live" in the studio. Despite Odger's exciting improvisations and Driscoll's strong vocals, the album went unnoticed. However, the single This Wheel's On Fire - a cover version of Dylan's song unknown to a wide audience at that time - released in the early summer of 1968, produced the effect of an exploding bomb and rose to 5th place in the charts. He forced the audience listening to the albums to pay attention to Open, which, with great delay, also entered the charts. King mixed elements of blues and rock music. The result was one of King's most critically acclaimed albums and one of the most highly acclaimed blues crossover albums of all time. The album appeared on several Billboard album charts in 1970, peaking at number 26 on the Pop Albums chart, number seven on the Jazz Albums chart, and number eight on Billboard's "Black Albums" list. The album also spawned several hit singles "Chains and Things", King's own song "Don't Ask Me Questions" and Leon Russell's song "Hummingbird". King himself also considers the album one of his greatest achievements. Art Wood was the lead singer of Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated for a short period in 1962, while also leading his own band ART WOOD COMBO. This album was the debut for Mariska Veres. This is the first recording of the band with singer Mariska Veres. Robbie van Leeuwen acquired Veres in an attempt to emulate the shape of Jefferson's female airplane. Thanks to Veres' remarkable vocal performance and stunning appearance, the band finally had an adequate frontwoman. The band's second album was a mix of influences from pop rock to psychedelic rock. There is also early evidence of their interest in Americana, with tracks such as "California Here I Come" and "Harley Davidson". A very rare British original of the cult album. Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake is the third studio album and the only concept album by English rock band Small Faces. Released on May 24, 1968, the album reached number one on the UK album charts on June 29, where it remained for a total of six weeks.  Ultimately, it became the band's last studio album during their initial incarnation (and the last album to contain exclusively new material until the release of the Playmates reunion album in 1977). The album's title and distinctive packaging design were a parody of Ogden's Nut-Brown Flakes, a brand of canned crumbly tobacco that was produced in Liverpool. since 1899 by Thomas Ogden. They are best known for their new 1968 hit on the UK singles chart, a high-speed cover version of Aram Khachaturian's classic piece "Dance with a Saber", released on the Parlophone label (R 5744), which reached number 5 on the UK Singles chart in December 1968. The recording was inspired by Keith Emerson's classic permutations. "Sabre Dance" became a hit after the broadcast of British DJ John Peel, who was so impressed that he played it twice in the same program.. In December 1968, the British music magazine NME reported that Love Sculpture had signed a recording contract in the US with London Records guaranteeing 250,000 pounds. SWEET SMOKE-JUST A POKE-1970-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-COLUMBIA-1C062-28886 is a very rare German original of one of the most iconic albums of prog music. Sweet Smoke is an American band formed in 1967 and played progressive rock. This is primarily a live band known for its long, impromptu performances.  It was created by Andrew Dershin, Mike Paris, Victor Sacco, Jay Dorfman and Merwin Kaminowitz in Brooklyn, New York. In the beginning, the band played in American clubs in front of a small audience. Then she moved to the Virgin Islands under the name "Ice Company", because the management of local clubs believed that the name "Sweet Smoke" ("Fragrant Smoke") and the hippie image were too provocative. After spending a short time in the Caribbean, the group moved to Germany at the end of 1969, where its members received the support of the famous German sculptor Waldemar Kuhn. Their first album Just A Poke in 1970 consisted of only two long songs Baby Night (16:22 min) and Silly Sally (16:24 min). The first is probably the band's most famous composition, mainly due to the distinctive melodies of Michael Paris' flute. The second one is remembered by Dorfman's long drum solo, played in a stereo effect (the so-called ping-pong effect). The record was produced by George Martin, who had worked with the band since 1962. Abbey Road sales totaled four million copies in the first two months. This is McCartney's first studio album, after his previous studio album Off the Ground, released in 1993; these four years McCartney was mainly busy working on The Beatles Anthology project. In the album's liner notes, McCartney wrote: "(The Anthology) reminded me of the standards we held to during The Beatles' time; the standards of how we worked on songs. So the creation of this album followed a course "refreshed" by these memories of the past." Since February 1995, McCartney has collaborated with Jeff Lynn, the lead vocalist and guitarist of the Electric Light Orchestra, a passionate fan of The Beatles. The album Flaming Pie is the last to be recorded by Paul's wife Linda McCartney, who died of breast cancer in 1998. Flaming Pie debuted in the UK Albums chart at number 2 in May 1997 — the best initial chart position since the album Flowers in the Dirt eight years earlier. In the US, the reaction was also very positive. The album debuted on the chart at the 2nd place (the best place of McCartney's albums in the US chart since the album Tug of War); in the first week, 121 thousand copies of the album were sold.  Both in the UK and in the USA, the album was recognized as the "best debutant on the chart", and also certified as "gold". In other countries, the reaction to the album was slightly worse than on Off the Ground, but in Greece, the album reached number 1 on the chart and was certified gold in Norway. According to the Nielsen SoundScan marketing research system, the album sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide until June 2007. ...more

Recorded between September 1970 and June 1971, released in September 1971 on Harvest Records. The album was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios (like its predecessor). Compared to Deep Purple in Rock, this album was recorded in a more experimental style. Allmusic named it one of the band's four most important albums, along with Machine Head, In Rock and Burn. Ian Gillan, unlike the rest of the band, considers this album a classic of Deep Purple. Nevertheless, he noticed that the inclusion of "Anyone's Daughter" (in the country style and with humorous lyrics) on the album was fun, but a mistake ("A good bit of fun, but a mistake"). Jon Lord singled out several tracks of the album, such as "No No No" and "Fools", and especially noted Pace's playing in the title track. The track "Strange Kind of Woman", released as a single in February 1971 and rose to number eight in the UK charts. 20,000 copies were sold in the first week.
