DOORS-WAITING FOR THE SUN-1968-FIRST PRESS USA-ELEKTRA-EKS74024. Matrices A-CTH1/B-CTH. TERRE HAUTE PRESS. A very rare American original of the cult album. Waiting for the Sun is the third studio album by American rock band The Doors, released in July 1968. The CD was recorded at Sunset Sound Studio (Los Angeles). It was originally planned that it would be based on the 25-minute composition "The Celebration of Lizard", but after listening to the recorded material, which only Morrison was satisfied with, this idea had to be abandoned. The album also did not include the title song, which was transferred to the album Morrison Hotel. While working on the album, Morrison often got drunk, which infuriated producer Paul Rothschild. Despite its roughness, as well as a barrage of criticism, the album reached the first line in the national hit parade. ...more

INXS-WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE-1992-FIRST PRESS EU-HOLLAND-MERCURY-512507-1. A rare European original of the cult group. Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released on August 3, 1992.Taking a course on the grunge and alternative rock that was relevant in the first half of the 90s, INXS tried to find a new direction for themselves, a la U2 (Achtung Baby), the use of a sitar, a 60-string orchestra and a much more "raw" sound. Producer Mark Opitz described the writing process as follows: "There's a lot of Michael, Andrew and me on the album. The opinion of everyone and everyone is not present here, because some of them were busy with significant changes in their personal lives." The mixing was handled by Bob Klimauntin. While working on the album, INXS performed at the Concert for Life in March 1992, performing some of the songs to the accompaniment of the orchestra[8] and presenting two new songs - "Taste It" and "All Around".The CD took 1st place in the UK chart, 16th place in the US Billboard 200 chart and was among the top ten albums of the year according to Q and The Independent magazines. However, due to insufficient promotion of the album by the record company and the lack of a tour in support of the album (after successful tours in support of Kick and X, the band took a vacation with the intention of returning with a tour in support of two albums), the album sold worse than its predecessors - gold in Britain in 1992, platinum in the USA in 1997. The band performed at the 1993 Australian Record Industry Awards (nominated for "Best Band"), performing "Heaven Sent" to the soundtrack of instruments, but with live vocals. ...more

In 1967, Trinity released their debut album Open on the Gomel Marmalade label, which was intentionally recorded "live" in the studio. Despite Odger's exciting improvisations and Driscoll's strong vocals, the album went unnoticed. However, the single This Wheel's On Fire - a cover version of Dylan's song unknown to a wide audience at that time - released in the early summer of 1968, produced the effect of an exploding bomb and rose to 5th place in the charts. He forced the audience listening to the albums to pay attention to Open, which, with great delay, also entered the charts. Julie Driscoll, with her extravagant image and radical views, became the subject of increased interest from the press, and also received several offers to star in a movie. ...more
