INXS-WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE-1992-FIRST PRESS EU-HOLLAND-MERCURY-512507-1.  A rare European original of the cult group. Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released on August 3, 1992.Taking a course on the grunge and alternative rock that was relevant in the first half of the 90s, INXS tried to find a new direction for themselves, a la U2 (Achtung Baby), the use of a sitar, a 60-string orchestra and a much more "raw" sound. Producer Mark Opitz described the writing process as follows: "There's a lot of Michael, Andrew and me on the album. The opinion of everyone and everyone is not present here, because some of them were busy with significant changes in their personal lives." The mixing was handled by Bob Klimauntin.While working on the album, INXS performed at the Concert for Life in March 1992, performing some of the songs to the accompaniment of the orchestra[8] and presenting two new songs - "Taste It" and "All Around".The CD took 1st place in the UK chart, 16th place in the US Billboard 200 chart and was among the top ten albums of the year according to Q and The Independent magazines. However, due to insufficient promotion of the album by the record company and the lack of a tour in support of the album (after successful tours in support of Kick and X, the band took a vacation with the intention of returning with a tour in support of two albums), the album sold worse than its predecessors - gold in Britain in 1992, platinum in the USA in 1997. SANTANA, CARLOS AND COLTRANE, ALICE - ILLUMINATIONS-1974-FIRST PRESS USA-COLUMBIA-PC32900. Rare American original original. After the release of the album , critics wrote: There is a clear discrepancy between the sheer ambition of this CD and its rather modest status in Santana's discography. The reason, obviously, is that the powerful swing did not quite succeed. We can say that this album is a continuation of the storyline started on Love, Devotion, Surrender with John McLaughlin. Here we are again witnessing a mighty spiritual message and free jazz arrivals. Here, Santana's partner is Alice Coltrane, the widow of the famous jazz musician. It is important that she is not only a widow, but also a harpist (almost the only one in jazz), as well as a pianist and string arranger. The presence of double bassist Dave Holland is also pleasing. The swing here is obvious: a bold attempt to mix classical, jazz and ethnic rhythms together - that is, to make a universal, comprehensive album. Admittedly, on quieter numbers, all this sounds very pleasant: beautiful passages by Santana, Alice's harp overdubs and blissful strings delight the ear, and for the sake of this alone, the album is worth keeping on the shelf. A rare British original of the famous jazz piano. Erroll Louis Garner (June 15, 1921 - January 2, 1977) was an American jazz pianist and composer known for his swing playing and ballads. His most famous composition, the ballad "Misty", became a jazz standard. Scott Yanow of Allmusic calls him "one of the most outstanding pianists" and "a brilliant virtuoso."He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6363 Hollywood Boulevard. His live album, Concert by the Sea, was first released in 1955, sold over a million copies by 1958, and Scott Yanow's opinion is: "this is an album that made such a strong impression that since then Garner has been considered immortal"  ...more

A very rare original of a cult blues album. Indianola Mississippi Seeds is the eighteenth studio album by B. B. King. It was released in October 1970 on ABC Records. On this album, B. B. King mixed elements of blues and rock music. The result was one of King's most critically acclaimed albums and one of the most highly acclaimed blues crossover albums of all time. The album appeared on several Billboard album charts in 1970, peaking at number 26 on the Pop Albums chart, number seven on the Jazz Albums chart, and number eight on Billboard's "Black Albums" list. The album also spawned several hit singles "Chains and Things", King's own song "Don't Ask Me Questions" and Leon Russell's song "Hummingbird". King himself also considers the album one of his greatest achievements.
