ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union. A rare original of the cult album. Nightflight to Venus is the third studio album by Euro-Caribbean band Boney M., released in July 1978. The album became a major success in continental Europe, Scandinavia and Canada, topping most album charts in the second half of 1978, and also became their first number one album in the UK. In Canada, the album received a nomination for the 1980 Juno Award in the International Album of the Year category. Nightflight to Venus includes the worldwide hits "Rivers of Babylon" and "Brown Girl in the Ring", a two-sided single that topped the UK singles chart and sold over 2 million copies.[4] The sequel was another Boney M. classic, "Rasputin", which in most countries was also performed on the double A side in combination with "Painter Man", a cover version of the 1966 hit by The Creation. In the UK, "Rasputin" and "Painter Man" were released separately as A-sides by Atlantic Records, both entering the Top 10. The second album of the hard prog British band consisting of great musicians JOHN CANN, JOHN GUSTAFSON, PAUL HAMMOND.  It is the second and final album by the 1970s British rock band HARD STUFF. During the recording of the album, two band members (John Cann and Paul Hammond) were injured in a serious car accident in Belgium. Cann was sitting in the front passenger seat of their car. Ford Zodiac and suffered a back injury and broken ribs, while Hammond, who was sleeping in the back seat, broke both legs. Kahn spent a week in the hospital in Ostend, and Hammond spent two months.[1] The band managed to finish recording the album, but Cann later stated: "When I listen to it, it sounds a little sketchy and not the way we intended, but still it has its good moments." Hard Stuff disbanded shortly after the release of the album, and the members went their separate ways.
