ERIC BURDON BAND -STOP-1975-FIRST PRESS USA-CAPITOL-SMAS11425. A rare original in a very rare top condition. Stop is a hard rock/R and B album by the first incarnation of Eric Burdon's band, which included Burdon, John Sterling, Kim Kesterson and Terry Ryan. The band was formed in 1971, after Burdon left his previous band War to record an album with Jimmy Witherspoon. They recorded the 1971 album Guilty! and then, without Witherspoon, this album. Released only in July 1975, it did not have a single hit, but enjoyed some success on the American chart, reaching both American and Canadian albums. A bright red and white cover cut octagonally in the shape of a traffic stop sign. Inside the spread, a large black-and-white portrait of Burdon is depicted on one surface. A rare Swedish original of the cult band's debut album. The debut album of the Swedish pop-rock band Roxette. Pearls of Passion was recorded at EMI Studios in Stockholm in 1986, and was released only in Scandinavia and Canada. The first edition of the Swedish record has an engraved inscription on the rim: "T'WAS A PLEASURE - CAPTAIN AND KANGAROO". The inscription has a hidden meaning, but Per Gessle does not reveal the secret and wants it to remain a secret. ...more

A rare British original .  Walls and Bridges is the fifth solo studio album by Beatles band member John Lennon, released in 1974. "Walls And Bridges" was recorded during Lennon and Yoko Ono's long separation. Elton John took part in the recording of the song "Whatever Gets You thru the Night". He bet Lennon that this song could take the first place in the American charts (which had not previously been possible for any of Lennon's solo singles). In case that happened, Lennon was obliged to take part in an Elton John concert. He had to fulfill his promise because "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" really managed to climb to the top of the chart. The composition "Beef Jerky" is the only instrumental on Lennon's solo albums. In the song "Ya Ya", Lennon's eleven-year-old son Julian plays drums. ...more

INXS-WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE-1992-FIRST PRESS EU-HOLLAND-MERCURY-512507-1.  A rare European original of the cult group. Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released on August 3, 1992.Taking a course on the grunge and alternative rock that was relevant in the first half of the 90s, INXS tried to find a new direction for themselves, a la U2 (Achtung Baby), the use of a sitar, a 60-string orchestra and a much more "raw" sound. Producer Mark Opitz described the writing process as follows: "There's a lot of Michael, Andrew and me on the album. The opinion of everyone and everyone is not present here, because some of them were busy with significant changes in their personal lives." The mixing was handled by Bob Klimauntin.While working on the album, INXS performed at the Concert for Life in March 1992, performing some of the songs to the accompaniment of the orchestra[8] and presenting two new songs - "Taste It" and "All Around".The CD took 1st place in the UK chart, 16th place in the US Billboard 200 chart and was among the top ten albums of the year according to Q and The Independent magazines. However, due to insufficient promotion of the album by the record company and the lack of a tour in support of the album (after successful tours in support of Kick and X, the band took a vacation with the intention of returning with a tour in support of two albums), the album sold worse than its predecessors - gold in Britain in 1992, platinum in the USA in 1997. The band performed at the 1993 Australian Record Industry Awards (nominated for "Best Band"), performing "Heaven Sent" to the soundtrack of instruments, but with live vocals. ...more
