The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) designated it gold, platinum and double platinum on July 30, 1990, after two million sales in the United States: it has sold over 7 million copies worldwide.

Having signed a contract with BC Records, they recorded their self-titled debut album at Advision Studios in London. However, the album was not released. After returning from the tour, the musicians recorded the album "Child Of Light" at Tangerine Studios, located in Dalston (East London).
