To do this, he, firstly, did not renew his contract with MCA and signed a contract with the record company Epic, and secondly, invited the famous musician and producer Desmond Child, who was widely known for his work with Kiss, Bon Jovi and Bonnie Tyler. Desmond Child became the producer and co-writer of the album. In addition, Alice Cooper invited such famous musicians as Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and Steven Tyler to work (as well as to work with the previous album). The result was the album Trash, the most successfully sold album by Alice Cooper in his entire career. The album reached peak sales in the United States and was awarded platinum status by the RIAA for a circulation of over 1,000,000 copies in February 1990. In the charts, the disc rose to number 20 in the US, to number 2 in the UK. ...more
