Communiqué was recorded in November-December 1978, at Compass Point Studios, Nassau and produced by Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett. The album was the first to debut in the German charts at number 1 in the first week of sales (their debut album Dire Straits was still at number 3 in this country). SAVOY BROWN-LOOKING IN-1970-THE FIRST UK-DECCA-SKL5066 Matrix A-1W/B-1W PRESS. A rare British original of the cult blues-rock band. Looking In is the sixth album by British blues band Savoy Brown. The album featured "Lonesome" Dave Peverett on vocals after Chris Yulden left the band last spring. Leader/guitarist Kim Simmonds will be the only band member to continue working with the band after this album, as all the other band members left to form Foghat next year. It was released by Decca in 1970 (SKL 5066). For release in the USA and Canada, the cassettes were leased to Parrot Records (PAS 71042). The album spent a week in the official UK charts and reached number 50. It performed significantly better in the US, where it spent 19 weeks on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 39, their second-highest album on the US charts. ...more

A very rare British original of the cult band..The third album of the wonderful Mungo Jerry, on which they continue to be in the framework of a jagband band that is branded for them. I don't think that, in comparison with the first two, the material here sags much more often, in general, this record is designed absolutely in the same stylistic spirit: pipes and kazoos, washing boards, unpretentious jagband and blues motifs. The peculiarity of such Mungo Jerry in general, and this album in particular, is that with all the buzz, relaxation and non-tension, at some point all this begins to have the opposite effect. The highlight of the album is the beautiful, bright, tenacious and generally one of the best things Mungo Jerry "You Don't Have To Be In The Army To Fight In The War", without which you can not do anything.    ...more

The album contains a selection of songs from the first four Eagles albums released between the formation of the Eagles in 1971 and 1975. Their greatest hits (1971-1975) reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, where they remained for five weeks. "One of These Nights" and "The Best of My Love" topped the Billboard Hot 100. The album is notable for being the first album to receive platinum certification by the RIAA, which was introduced in 1976 to recognize albums sold a million copies in the United States. It peaked at number four on the Billboard year-end Albums chart in 1976 and spent a total of 239 weeks on the Billboard 200 as of August 2018. Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) was the best-selling album of the 20th century in the United States, and it remained so for several years until it was surpassed by Michael Jackson's thriller after the artist's death in 2009..
