The recordings took place in January 1984 at a power plant in New York . Stevie Ray Vaughan wrote half of the tracks, unable to withstand the weather. The album reached number 31 on the Billboard 200 chart, and the video for the song "Couldn't Stand the Weather" received regular rotation on MTV. ZOO-ZOO-1971-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-BACILLUS - 6494006 Mega rare album on a prestigious label. ZOO is a French prog band based on blues and jazz. The debut album of the French band formed in 1968. Starting work in the studio on April 16, 1969, the musicians recorded 8 songs included in the album of the same name in 2 days. In November of the same year, the band took part in the festival in the Belgian city of Amougies together with "Pink Floyd", "Colosseum", "The Nice", "East Of Eden", Frank Zappa, etc. In 1970, before the release of the second album, Joël Daydé and Pierre Fanen left the band due to musical differences, and Englishman Ian Bellamy took the place of the vocalist. The second album was recorded from June 12 to September 9, 1970, later receiving the opportunity to promote on the two largest radio stations in New York - "WOR—FM" and "WABC-FM". It was released by Decca in the UK and Parrot in the US in September 1969. This is the last album recorded with longtime pianist Bob Hall. The album track "Made Up My Mind" first appeared as the B-side of an American single on Parrot Records 45-40039 (released in June 1969), accompanied by "Train to Nowhere" from their album Blue Matter. The track "Waiting in the Bamboo Grove" would later be released as the B-side of the British Decca single F 13019 (released in May 1970) "A Hard Way To Go" from their album. Raw siena. Side Two was recorded live at Cooks Ferry Inn, Edmonton, London, on May 12, 1969.
