"Blaze of Glory" is the first solo album by American musician, Bon Jovi band leader Jon Bon Jovi, released in 1990. It is also considered the soundtrack of the movie "Young Arrows 2". Emilio Estevez asked Bon Jovi for their song "Wanted Dead or Alive" from the album "Slippery When Wet" as the theme for his upcoming sequel film about Billy the Kid, but instead Jon Bon Jovi composed several songs for this film. The recording of the album was attended by such stars as Elton John, Little Richard and Jeff Beck. The title song of this album — "Blaze of Glory" — was nominated in 1991 for the Academy Award in the category "Best Music for a Film". With various covers and track listings, it was released on March 28, 1966 on London Records in the US and on November 4, 1966 on Decca Records in the UK. The American edition focused on songs from 1964 and 1965 with two new tunes: the recent "19th Nervous Breakdown" and the re-recorded "Time Is on My Side" with a guitar intro. The British version covered a longer period, starting with the band's first A-side single in 1963, "Come On", and ending with several songs from 1966, including the recent hit "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow?"
