ZOO-ZOO-1971-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-BACILLUS - 6494006 Mega rare album on a prestigious label. ZOO is a French prog band based on blues and jazz. The debut album of the French band formed in 1968. Starting work in the studio on April 16, 1969, the musicians recorded 8 songs included in the album of the same name in 2 days. In November of the same year, the band took part in the festival in the Belgian city of Amougies together with "Pink Floyd", "Colosseum", "The Nice", "East Of Eden", Frank Zappa, etc. In 1970, before the release of the second album, Joël Daydé and Pierre Fanen left the band due to musical differences, and Englishman Ian Bellamy took the place of the vocalist. The second album was recorded from June 12 to September 9, 1970, later receiving the opportunity to promote on the two largest radio stations in New York - "WOR—FM" and "WABC-FM". A very rare British original of the iconic ROLLING STONES album. Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) is the first compilation album by The Rolling Stones. With various covers and track listings, it was released on March 28, 1966 on London Records in the US and on November 4, 1966 on Decca Records in the UK. The American edition focused on songs from 1964 and 1965 with two new tunes: the recent "19th Nervous Breakdown" and the re-recorded "Time Is on My Side" with a guitar intro. The British version covered a longer period, starting with the band's first A-side single in 1963, "Come On", and ending with several songs from 1966, including the recent hit "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow?" The album reached number three on the US Billboard 200 chart.[1] and the fourth place in the UK albums chart.[2] It remained on the chart for 99 weeks in the US, where the RIAA certified the album as double platinum, which meant more than two million copies sold. ...more

  Concerto for Group and Orchestra (translated from English — "Concert for Group and Orchestra") is a live album by the British rock band Deep Purple, recorded together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. One of the first attempts to harmoniously combine classical music and rock music in one piece. It was released in the USA in December 1969, and in the UK in January 1970. By the time the second line-up of Deep Purple was formed, there was a confrontation in the band between the art-rock ambitions of John Lord and the hard-rock ambitions of Richie Blackmore. Lord considered the possibility of creating a work that would combine the features of classical and rock music. Deep Purple manager Tony Edwards decides to go all-in and reserves the Albert Hall for September 24, leaving John Lord about six months to write the score.
