INXS-WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE-1992-FIRST PRESS EU-HOLLAND-MERCURY-512507-1.  A rare European original of the cult group. Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released on August 3, 1992.Taking a course on the grunge and alternative rock that was relevant in the first half of the 90s, INXS tried to find a new direction for themselves, a la U2 (Achtung Baby), the use of a sitar, a 60-string orchestra and a much more "raw" sound. Producer Mark Opitz described the writing process as follows: "There's a lot of Michael, Andrew and me on the album. The opinion of everyone and everyone is not present here, because some of them were busy with significant changes in their personal lives." The mixing was handled by Bob Klimauntin. While working on the album, INXS performed at the Concert for Life in March 1992, performing some of the songs to the accompaniment of the orchestra[8] and presenting two new songs - "Taste It" and "All Around".The CD took 1st place in the UK chart, 16th place in the US Billboard 200 chart and was among the top ten albums of the year according to Q and The Independent magazines. However, due to insufficient promotion of the album by the record company and the lack of a tour in support of the album (after successful tours in support of Kick and X, the band took a vacation with the intention of returning with a tour in support of two albums), the album sold worse than its predecessors - gold in Britain in 1992, platinum in the USA in 1997.

The band performed at the 1993 Australian Record Industry Awards (nominated for "Best Band"), performing "Heaven Sent" to the soundtrack of instruments, but with live vocals.

Vinyl record in top condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE. The cover is a matte spread in top condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE. Labels as new - NMINT/ARCHIVE.

SWEET-GIVE US A WINK-1976-THE FIRST UK PRESS-RCA-RS1036 matrix-A2/B2 . A very rare British original. The fourth studio album by the British rock band Sweet. It was the first album entirely written and produced by the band members. Previously, they relied on the material of the songwriting team of Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman. The album was released by RCA Records in Europe and Australia and by Capitol Records in the United States, Canada and Japan.  The album completed the band's transition to the hard rock style, which has always been the hallmark of their self-composed B-sides. Give Us a Wink reached 3rd place in Sweden, 9th in Germany and entered the Top 20 in Norway and Australia. The album failed to chart in Sweet's home country, the UK. The European album contains two singles, "Action" and "The Lies in Your Eyes", which were recorded and released before the rest of the album was released. "Action" hit the top 10 in 1975 in many European countries, but stopped at number 15 in the UK singles chart. Although "Lies in Your Eyes" only reached number 35 in the UK, it was popular in other parts of Europe as well as in Australia. ...more

QUEEN-A NIGHT AT THE OPERA-1975-FIRST PRESS UK-EMI - EMTC103.Matrices A-2/B-3. A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and in the UK charts it held the first position for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "A Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is considered that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album "God Save the Queen" is the anthem of Great Britain arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably completed each concert of the band. The album was ranked 230th on Rolling Stone magazine's 2003 list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and 128th on the 2020 list. ...more
