DEPECHE MODE-PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE -1984-FIRST PRESS USA-SIRE/MUTE-7599-25124-1/ A rare American compilation of unreleased material from 1981 to 1984 of the period of the first three albums. People Are People is a compilation album by the British band Depeche Mode, released on July 2, 1984 in order to consolidate the broadcast success of the song "People Are People", which was released as a single in March 1984. The collection includes nine songs, six of which were already present on Depeche Mode studio albums, and three songs became new for the USA — the singles "People Are People" and "Get the Balance Right!", as well as the B-sides "Now, This Is Fun" and "Work Hard" from the singles "See You" and "Everything Counts" respectively.
