Robbie van Leeuwen acquired Veres in an attempt to emulate the shape of Jefferson's female airplane. Thanks to Veres' remarkable vocal performance and stunning appearance, the band finally had an adequate frontwoman. The band's second album was a mix of influences from pop rock to psychedelic rock. The CD was released after the extraordinary success of Band on the Run and also became very popular. Paul McCartney's first album with Capitol Records. After the release of Band on the Run, Wings also included Jimmy McCulloch (lead guitarist) and Jeff Britton (drummer) in 1974.
