INXS-WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE-1992-FIRST PRESS EU-HOLLAND-MERCURY-512507-1.  A rare European original of the cult group. Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released on August 3, 1992.Taking a course on the grunge and alternative rock that was relevant in the first half of the 90s, INXS tried to find a new direction for themselves, a la U2 (Achtung Baby), the use of a sitar, a 60-string orchestra and a much more "raw" sound. Producer Mark Opitz described the writing process as follows: "There's a lot of Michael, Andrew and me on the album. The opinion of everyone and everyone is not present here, because some of them were busy with significant changes in their personal lives." The mixing was handled by Bob Klimauntin.While working on the album, INXS performed at the Concert for Life in March 1992, performing some of the songs to the accompaniment of the orchestra[8] and presenting two new songs - "Taste It" and "All Around".The CD took 1st place in the UK chart, 16th place in the US Billboard 200 chart and was among the top ten albums of the year according to Q and The Independent magazines. However, due to insufficient promotion of the album by the record company and the lack of a tour in support of the album (after successful tours in support of Kick and X, the band took a vacation with the intention of returning with a tour in support of two albums), the album sold worse than its predecessors - gold in Britain in 1992, platinum in the USA in 1997. According to the RIAA, it sold over five million copies in the U.S. alone, becoming instantly multiplatinovymi. The first four tracks previously released on the EP Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide. The last four songs were recorded using acoustic guitars. They were written and recorded in only a few sessions in the Studio (except "You're Crazy", which was included in an alternate version of the album Appetite for Destruction).In later interviews, Axl rose said that he likes how the band sounded on the last four songs, but he hated the sound of his voice. Rose recalled that his voice was hoarse and rough due to long touring bands at the time, and if he could, he re-recorded his vocals. Recorded in the winter of 1977 (although the appointment was made in October 1976) in London (Studio "Audio International Studios"). Released on RCA records in April of the same year. The film was produced by the musicians themselves. This album laid the Foundation for the next three albums.
