A very rare original of blues giants.  Cricklewood Green is the fourth studio album by blues rock band Ten Years After, released in 1970. Allmusic gave Cricklewood Green an exceptionally positive retrospective review, praising each individual track and summarizing that "the band and engineer Andy Jones mix studio tricks and sound effects, blues-based song structures, a driving rhythm section and Alvin Lee's signature lightning-fast guitar playing into a single album that perfectly blends from start to finish" The album reached in 1970 in the USA -14 place, Australia -19 place. ...more

Procol's Ninth Rare British original is the eighth studio album (ninth, including live) Procol Harum, released in August 1975. Produced by songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Procol's Ninth album was slightly different from the previous album, with a much brighter sound than Chris Thomas' more elaborate works. According to an interview with guitarist Mick Grabham, taken by Roland Clare for the 2009 reissue, Leiber and Stoller paid less attention to the producer sound, and more to the "structure of the songs". The band appeared on the album cover in a simple, unassuming photograph reflecting the sound of the album itself. The signatures of each band member were reproduced on the cover. ...more

THE FLOCK is the first album by a very interesting American band that worked at the junction of jazz, blues and rock. In almost any criticism you will read that FLOCK is very similar to CHICAGO, was influenced by CHICAGO, or something similar. You can safely throw this criticism in the trash... The Flock failed to achieve the commercial success of other jazz-rock bands of the era, such as Chicago and Blood Sweat and Tears, but they became quite famous due to the inclusion of the violin in the group. They cannot be attributed to the jazz mainstream and gloss, which American philistines liked so much, because the powerful brass section was often reinforced by a hard sound and hard rock riffs. ...more

Déjà Vu is the second studio album by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, their first album as a quartet with Neil Young. Released in March 1970 on Atlantic Records. Déjà Vu topped the pop albums chart for a week, three singles from it ("Woodstock", "Teach Your Children" and "Our House") hit the top 40, while the album's presales alone brought in $2 million. By 2021, the record had been certified platinum by the RIAA seven times, and the number of copies sold exceeded 8 million, which is the best result for both the band and all its members individually. ...more
