This is one of the innovative albums in the style of jazz fusion. The name is a translation of the Latin phrase morituri te salutant, which, according to popular belief (but not academic agreement), gladiators addressed to the emperor before the start of a gladiatorial duel. The original vinyl album had the name "Colosseum" on the record label and on the spine of the cover, but the album is better known as "Those Who are About to Die Greet You". The album reached number 15 on the UK Albums Chart. ...more

Procol's Ninth Rare British original is the eighth studio album (ninth, including live) Procol Harum, released in August 1975. Produced by songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Procol's Ninth album was slightly different from the previous album, with a much brighter sound than Chris Thomas' more elaborate works. According to an interview with guitarist Mick Grabham, taken by Roland Clare for the 2009 reissue, Leiber and Stoller paid less attention to the producer sound, and more to the "structure of the songs". It was less successful in America, peaking at number six on the Billboard album charts. With over 1,000,000 units shipped in the United States, the Recording Industry Association of America certified Final Cut Platinum in May 1983. He also directed the film "More", for which Pink Floyd also recorded the soundtrack. The CD was recorded in six days in France, at the Chateau d’Erouville. As in the case of the soundtrack to the film "More", you can hear several modified versions of the songs on the album.
