A very rare British original of the cult prog-blues-psycho band. Vincebus Eruptum is the debut album by American rock band BLUE CHEER. Released on January 16, 1968, the album features a thunderous bluesy sound that would later become known as heavy metal. Due to commercial success and critical acclaim, Vincebus Eruptum reached number 11 on the Billboard 200 album chart and secured the 14th line of the cover version of Eddie Cochran's song "Summertime Blues". Being an example of hard rock, it is also considered one of the first heavy metal albums. Spin magazine placed it at number 22 on their list of the 40 Greatest Metal albums. ...more

STEVE VAI- PASSION AND WARFARE - 1990- FIRST PRESS UK-FFT- GRUB17. A rare British original. Passion and Warfare is the second studio album by guitarist Steve Vai, released on May 22, 1990 on Relativity and Epic Records. He received a gold certificate from the RIAA. Passion and Warfare was written based on a series of episodes of dreams that Vai had when he was younger, and in the album's guitar notes book Vai summarizes it this way: "Jimi Hendrix meets Jesus Christ at a party that Ben Hur arranged for Mel Blanc." It was all recorded at Mothership Studios in his Hollywood Hills home, a 1,600-square-foot (150 m2) building that also recorded his guitar parts for Whitesnake's 1989 album Slip of the Tongue. Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale has small spoken parts on the album; Coverdale, Adrian Vandenberg and Rudy Sarzo are credited with backing vocals. Vai claims that planning for the album began back in 1982, but was postponed after joining David Lee Roth's band and was not resumed until the breakup with Roth in 1989. ...more

A very rare British original of the cult album. Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake is the third studio album and the only concept album by English rock band Small Faces. Released on May 24, 1968, the album reached number one on the UK album charts on June 29, where it remained for a total of six weeks.  Ultimately, it became the band's last studio album during their initial incarnation (and the last album to contain exclusively new material until the release of the Playmates reunion album in 1977). The album's title and distinctive packaging design were a parody of Ogden's Nut-Brown Flakes, a brand of canned crumbly tobacco that was produced in Liverpool. since 1899 by Thomas Ogden. Released on February 4, 1991. The last album "Queen", recorded and released during the life of Freddie Mercury. The name Innuendo contains an "indirect hint" that the band will not last long in this line-up. The last songs were very difficult for Freddie, who was already seriously ill. Nevertheless, the album was finished and well received by the public. Several music videos were made in support of him, one of which, "These Are The Days of Our Lives", was the last video featuring Mercury.Despite mixed reviews from critics, Queen's new album peaked at number one on the album charts in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and her native United Kingdom, going double platinum. ...more
