Procol's Ninth Rare British original is the eighth studio album (ninth, including live) Procol Harum, released in August 1975. Produced by songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Procol's Ninth album was slightly different from the previous album, with a much brighter sound than Chris Thomas' more elaborate works. According to an interview with guitarist Mick Grabham, taken by Roland Clare for the 2009 reissue, Leiber and Stoller paid less attention to the producer sound, and more to the "structure of the songs". After a busy tour in 1990, Moore recorded the album "After Hours", which, like its predecessor, was sustained in the style of blues-rock, but with a great soul influence and with the addition of a brass section that played in the style of soul.
