JOPLIN, JANIS-IN CONCERT (2LP'S)-1972- FIRST PRESS USA-COLUMBIA-AL31162.  A rare American original of the cult album. In Concert is a live album by Janis Joplin. It was released in 1972, after Joplin's death, as a double album. The first record contains performances with Big Brother and the Holding Company, and the second with the Full Tilt Boogie Band, recorded in different locations in 1968 and 1970. There are no live recordings from her first solo work with the Kozmic Blues band on the album, although the songs produced with this group were performed in Full Tilt Boogie Band recordings. The photographs used for the gatefold album were taken by photographer David Gar in New York in 1969 and 1970. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 in the US. ...more

Whatever Happened to Benny Santini? is the debut album by Chris Rea, released in 1978. The album's first single, "Fool (If You Think It's Over)", is justifiably considered Chris' most famous song and remains his best hit in the US, reaching number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and number 1 on the Adult Contemporary Singles charts. This success was also facilitated by the extensive broadcasting on Radio Caroline, as it was dedicated to the British Home Office, which tried to stop broadcasting the radio station. A rare British original of the iconic live concert. The full name of the disc is It's Naz: only part of the inscription "'SNAZ" is depicted on the front side of the record, which many mistakenly indicate as the name of the album; there is an assumption (including due to the lack of a space) that this is a "provocation".The album is a recording of a concert at the Pacific Colisium in Vancouver in May 1981, held as part of a tour of North America. Several more concerts of that tour were recorded on tape, but this one, according to the band, was the best.
