The Division Bell is the fourteenth studio album by the British progressive rock band Pink Floyd. In the UK, the CD was released on March 28, 1994 on the EMI label, in the USA it was released on April 4 of the same year on Columbia Records. The music is mostly written by David Gilmore and Richard Wright, the lyrics are mainly devoted to the topic of communication. The album was recorded in several locations, including Pink Floyd-owned Britannia Row Studios and Astoria. The Division Bell reached the top of the charts in the UK and the United States, but critics reacted coolly to it. The album was released immediately after Pink Floyd's tour of the USA and Europe. In June 1994, the disc was awarded the status of gold, platinum and double platinum in the USA, and in January 1999 it became triple platinum.

The remaining trio of musicians decided to continue the existence of their collective, making up for the loss mainly due to session musicians. Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake is the third studio album and the only concept album by English rock band Small Faces. Released on May 24, 1968, the album reached number one on the UK album charts on June 29, where it remained for a total of six weeks. Ultimately, it became the band's last studio album during their initial incarnation (and the last album to contain exclusively new material until the release of the Playmates reunion album in 1977). The album's title and distinctive packaging design were a parody of Ogden's Nut-Brown Flakes, a brand of canned crumbly tobacco that was produced in Liverpool. since 1899 by Thomas Ogden.
