Déjà Vu topped the pop albums chart for a week, three singles from it ("Woodstock", "Teach Your Children" and "Our House") hit the top 40, while the album's presales alone brought in $2 million. PINK FLOYD-OBSCURED BY CLOUDS-1972-FIRST PRESS UK-HARVEST-SHSP4020 matrix A2/B2 stamper 1GP/1RA (Very Early) .A very rare British original of the iconic album. Obscured by Clouds is the seventh studio album by the British progressive rock band Pink Floyd, released on 3 June 1972, as the soundtrack to the French film La Vallée by Barbet Schroeder. He also directed the film "More", for which Pink Floyd also recorded the soundtrack. The CD was recorded in six days in France, at the Chateau d’Erouville. As in the case of the soundtrack to the film "More", you can hear several modified versions of the songs on the album. "Obscured by Clouds" reached number six on the UK charts and number 46 in the US.  ...more

It was released in 1972, after Joplin's death, as a double album. The first record contains performances with Big Brother and the Holding Company, and the second with the Full Tilt Boogie Band, recorded in different locations in 1968 and 1970. There are no live recordings from her first solo work with the Kozmic Blues band on the album, although the songs produced with this group were performed in Full Tilt Boogie Band recordings. The photographs used for the gatefold album were taken by photographer David Gar in New York in 1969 and 1970. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 in the US. ...more
