DAVE BRUBECK-WE'RE ALL TOGETHER AGAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME-1973-FIRST PRESS USA-ATLANTIC-SD1641. A rare American original of the iconic album.  A 1973 live album by Dave Brubeck and his quintet, recorded in various places in Europe. The album reached number 20 on the Billboard Top Jazz Charts. "Truth", "Unfinished Woman" and "Take Five" were recorded at the Berlin Philharmonic, "Koto Song" was recorded at the Olympia in Paris, and "Rotterdam Blues" and "Sweet Georgia Brown" were recorded at the De Doelen Concert Hall in Rotterdam. The album was reviewed by Scott Yanow of Allmusic, who wrote that "For this very logical record, the altruist Paul Desmond . . .. turns the band into a quintet, and his interaction with Mulligan is consistently delightful. ...In addition, Desmond is featured in the "Koto Song", and for an encore Brubeck performs the lighthearted, albeit brief "Sweet Georgia Brown".". ...more

ABBA-MORE ABBA GOLD (2LP'S) -1993-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-GERMANY-POLYDOR-519353-1. A very rare original double compilation of the cult band with unrealized tracks, among others.  The ABBA Gold album featured 19 of the most notable hits on an international scale, but some equally well-known songs like "Summer Night City" and "Angeleyes" remained "overboard". He also did not include a number of other songs by the band (recordings from the early 1980s: "Head over Heels" and "The Day Before You Came"; b-sides of famous singles and just tracks from albums, as well as "I Am the City", recorded in 1982, but never released). NUTZ-SAME -1974-THE FIRST USA-AM-SP3648 PRESS. The real American original of the first album.Hard rockers Nutz, formed in Liverpool, England, in 1973 by singer Dave Lloyd, guitarist Mick Devonport, bassist Keith Mulholland and drummer John Mylett, recorded four albums for A M - 1974 Nutz, 1975 Nutz Too, 1976 Hard Nutz (introducing keyboardist Kenny Newton) and 1977 Nutz Live Cutz. But neither all this, nor the periodic tours in support of Black Sabbath and Budgie (not to mention the Friday concert at the Reading Festival in 1976) allowed them to become headliners.By 1979, the band began to break up, but when their song "Bootliggers" was selected for inclusion on the 1980s album Metal for Muthas (a compilation of emerging New Wave talents of British heavy metal such as Iron Maiden, Praying Mantis and Samson), Nutz reinvented themselves as Rage. This barely disguised new version of Nutz (not to be confused with the German power metal trio that appeared a few years later) replaced Newton with additional guitarist Terry Steers and recorded three more albums before finally disbanding in 1984. ...more
