Daughter of Time is the fourth album by the English jazz-rock band Colosseum, released in 1970. The album remained on the UK Albums Chart for five weeks, peaking at number 23. Recorded in the midst of the band's turmoil, only one of the eight tracks, "Three Score and Ten, Amen", features all six official band members.

The record demonstrates the group's desire to expand its own stylistic framework, a number of his compositions are musically noticeably more complex than the CCR recordings of the 1968-1969 sample. The trio consists of percussionist Nana Vasconcelos..Throughout the album, Metheny acts as the lead guitarist, accompanying guitarist and bassist, using an overdubbing technique. The track "September Fifteenth" refers to September 15, 1980, the day of the death of American jazz pianist Bill Evans. Metheny and Mays call Evans the main person involved.
