Keef Hartley - Lancashire Hustler After the breakup of the Keef Hartley Band, drummer Keith "Keef" Hartley (April 8, 1944 - November 26, 2011) released another album, Lancashire Hustler, considered his solo album... He uses mostly the services of sessions, and took Jess Roden on vocals.In late 1974, Hartley and Anderson Miller settled their differences and formed a new band, Dog Soldier, which also included guitarist Derek Griffiths (ex-Artwoods), keyboardist Mel Simpson and bassist Paul Bliss. But after the release of the album title (1975), Hartley announced his departure from the band.

His club featured, for example, Ben Webster, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Michel Legrand, Milt Jackson, Monty Alexander, Miles Davis.
