NUTZ-SAME -1974-THE FIRST USA-AM-SP3648 PRESS. The real American original of the first album.Hard rockers Nutz, formed in Liverpool, England, in 1973 by singer Dave Lloyd, guitarist Mick Devonport, bassist Keith Mulholland and drummer John Mylett, recorded four albums for A M - 1974 Nutz, 1975 Nutz Too, 1976 Hard Nutz (introducing keyboardist Kenny Newton) and 1977 Nutz Live Cutz. But neither all this, nor the periodic tours in support of Black Sabbath and Budgie (not to mention the Friday concert at the Reading Festival in 1976) allowed them to become headliners.By 1979, the band began to break up, but when their song "Bootliggers" was selected for inclusion on the 1980s album Metal for Muthas (a compilation of emerging New Wave talents of British heavy metal such as Iron Maiden, Praying Mantis and Samson), Nutz reinvented themselves as Rage. This barely disguised new version of Nutz (not to be confused with the German power metal trio that appeared a few years later) replaced Newton with additional guitarist Terry Steers and recorded three more albums before finally disbanding in 1984. ...more

URIAH HEEP-...VERY 'EAVY VERY 'UMBLE-1970-THE FIRST UK PRESS- VERTIGO SWIRL-6360006.  A mega rare British original of the iconic album. The album was released in June 1970 by Vertigo Records in the UK. The original vinyl release was a spread-out envelope with frontman David Byron depicted on the front sleeve, almost unrecognizable under the cobwebs. It was released in August 1970 by Mercury Records in the United States under the name just Uriah Heep with a different artwork on the cover (a centipede-type monster) and with the track "Bird of Prey" instead of "Lucy Blues". The album was re-released by Bronze Records in 1971 after the band signed with that label. The album shows the band trying out different genres – a mix of heavy metal and progressive rock, rather than the hard rock they became known for on later albums. Tracks 3 and 8 were recorded as Spice songs before the band was renamed Uriah Heep, and featured session musician Colin Wood on keyboards. When Ken Hensley joined Spice in early 1970, the tracks were not re-recorded. ...more

A very rare British original with the first matrices .Houses of the Holy is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Led Zeppelin, released on March 28, 1973 on Atlantic Records. Page described the idea of the cover as "a symbol of innocence, an expression of the idea that we are all beings who aspire to the promised heaven." Six-year-old Samantha Gates and her four-year-old brother Stefan posed. The cover photo is a collage of more than thirty pictures. The album cover did not contain any information about the artists or the title. In the USA, the headline was written on ribbons that were taped over children's buttocks. Despite this precaution, the record was banned in many states of the "Bible Belt". "They wouldn't let us do anything like that today, they would immediately accuse us of pedophilia propaganda," says Powell, "but we were hippies, walking around naked was completely commonplace for us." In 2011, the album cover was ranked 28th in the list of the best album covers of all time by the online edition of Music Radar. In the music ranking, the album immediately took 1st to 10th places in the charts of countries on all continents, becoming immediately multi-platinum.  ...more

A rare British original with a poster.  Rumours is the eleventh studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on February 4, 1977 on the Warner Bros. label. Most of the record was recorded during 1976, and was produced by the band itself, together with Ken Kailatt and Richard Deschat. Four singles were released in support of the CD: "Go Your Own Way", "Dreams", "Don't Stop" and "You Make Loving Fun". Rumours became Fleetwood Mac's most successful album: in 1978, it was awarded the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and its sales amounted to more than 40 million copies worldwide — one of the highest figures in the history of recording. ...more
