The king of pop music. Dangerous is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter Michael Jackson. It was released on Epic Records on November 26, 1991. Critics noted the wide genre palette of the record, which includes: new jack swing, funk, industrial, modern rhythm and blues, gospel, pop rock and hard rock. While creating the album, Jackson himself acted as its executive producer, collaborating with Teddy Riley and Bill Bottrell. The singer was directly involved in the creation of each of the 14 songs as an author, producer or co-producer. In the winter of 1991, Dangerous debuted at the top of the US and UK charts. Within two years, 9 singles and video clips were released from it, the videos were included in the Dangerous – The Short Films video collection.
