Hogwash is a 1972 album recorded by The Groundhogs, originally released by United Artists Records in 1972. Hogwash's sound was classified as progressive rock, and it contains elements of psychedelic music, space rock and blues. Tony McPhee was one of the first rock guitarists to experiment with guitar-driven synthesis. This made it possible to double the sound of the guitar. The album concludes with a tribute to John Lee Hooker.
