The seventh studio album by the British-American rock band Foreigner, released on June 14, 1991 on Atlantic Records. Unusual Heat suffered a commercial failure, reaching only number 117 on the Billboard chart due to a sharp drop in sales compared to all previous albums, each of which reached the Top 20 and became at least platinum. None of the two singles released from the album made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and "Lowdown and Dirty" only reached number 4 on the Mainstream Rock chart. ...more

A very early reissue of the album with a re-recorded sound. Electric Ladyland is the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968.Recording the album was accompanied by constant difficulties. After a troubled tour of Scandinavia and England, Hendricks decided to move to the US. Disillusioned with the creative limitations of record companies, he set up his own Studio in new York city, where he could implement all his musical ideas. The construction of the Studio was accompanied by problems, and its construction was finally completed only in the mid-70s.As a result, Jimi recorded the bulk of the material at the Record Plant studios. Due to difficulties in his relationship with the band's bassist, Noel reading, Jimi played most of the bass guitar parts himself, including the bass solo on "1983". During the recording of "All Along the Watchtower", reading went to a nearby bar, Hendrix took his bass and recorded the song."Voodoo Chile "was recorded during Hendrix's late-night jam session featuring Mitch Mitchell, Steve Winwood on Hammond organ, and Jack Casady on bass guitar; it served as the basis for" Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", recorded the following day. The double album "Electric Ladyland" revealed the full breadth of Hendrix's musical talent.
