A very rare British original of the iconic album. Off the Ground (from English — "From the ground") is the ninth solo studio album by Paul McCartney, released in 1993, McCartney's first studio album in the 1990s, following Flowers in the Dirt released in 1989. The album Off the Ground itself was released on February 1, 1993. The album rose to number 5 on the UK chart, and to number 17 on the US chart (it was certified gold there). The album was the first McCartney album in which no single became a notable hit in the United States; this has not been the case in McCartney's practice since the Wings Wild Life album in 1971. While the single "Hope of Deliverance" was floundering somewhere in the depths of the American singles chart, it rose to number 18 in the UK; "C'mon People" was less successful in the UK chart, and almost unnoticeable in the US. The album rose to number 5 on the UK Top 100 Albums Chart and stayed on the chart for only 6 weeks. In Germany, the album achieved relatively greater success, rose to number 2 and stayed there for 4 weeks, was certified platinum; the single "Hope of Deliverance" rose to number 3 on the singles chart. In the United States, the single "Off the Ground" rose to number 27 on the Adult Contemporary chart.A few weeks after the release of the album, McCartney and the band began a world tour ("The New World Tour"); the tour lasted 6 months, and many successful concerts were given in different countries. A very rare British original of the iconic album. Firefly is the 10th studio album by British rock band Uriah Heep, released in February 1977 on Bronze Records in the United Kingdom and Warner Bros. Records in the United States. It was the band's first album without David Byron, the former lead vocalist and founding member of the band, who was replaced by John Lawton. Bassist Trevor Bolder made his debut with Uriah Heep on this album and, apart from an 18-month hiatus in the early 1980s, he was a member of this band until his death in 2013. BRING ON THE NIGHT is Sting's first live album, recorded during several concerts in 1985 and released in 1986. The title is taken from a song by the Police from their 1979 album Reggatta de Blanc. The songs performed include Sting's early solo material from the studio album The Dream of the Blue Turtles and from his time with The Police, with some performances performed as a medley of the two. The touring band features prominent jazz musicians Branford Marsalis on tenor and soprano saxophones, Darryl Jones on bass guitar, Kenny Kirkland on keyboards and synthesizer, and Omar Hakim on drums. Backing vocalists Janice Pendarvis and Dolette McDonald also perform. Despite the lack of hit singles, the album reached number 16 on the UK album Charts and earned Sting a Grammy Award in 1988 for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. ...more

Is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel, released on June 2, 1978 by Charisma Records. Gabriel began recording the album in November 1977, the same month he completed a tour in support of his debut solo release. He hired former King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp, who was part of Gabriel's early touring band, to produce the album and incorporated its Frippertronic effects into his co-written composition "Exposure". The album was released in the USA under the name Peter Gabriel II. Later, he became informally known as Scratch, referring to the design of the Hipgnosis album. The album reached number 10 on the UK Albums chart and number 45 on the US Billboard Pop Albums chart. ...more
