It originally existed from 1976 to 1986, and was formed in 1976. They are Belgium's most famous punk band, most remembered for their songs "Fascist Cops" (1978) and "There Won't Be a Next Time" (1981). The band broke up in 1985, but reunited in 1996 to record the soundtrack to the Belgian film Dief (Thief).

Vaya Con Dios was written with the cooperation of various artists, one of them — Burt Dekort, a former member of staff of the Mistress, worked to create "Puerto Rico".
