Is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel, released on June 2, 1978 by Charisma Records. Gabriel began recording the album in November 1977, the same month he completed a tour in support of his debut solo release. He hired former King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp, who was part of Gabriel's early touring band, to produce the album and incorporated its Frippertronic effects into his co-written composition "Exposure". The album was released in the USA under the name Peter Gabriel II. Later, he became informally known as Scratch, referring to the design of the Hipgnosis album. The album reached number 10 on the UK Albums chart and number 45 on the US Billboard Pop Albums chart.
