A rare original of the cult pop-rock wave album with a promo poster. Stay on These Roads is the third studio album by Norwegian music group A-ha. It was released on May 3, 1988. The album was certified platinum in Brazil, and gold in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The album was recorded in 1987 and released on May 3, 1988. In 1987, the single "The Living Daylights" was released, which became the theme to the film "Sparks from the Eyes" about James Bond and was later included in the album. Of the singles, the most popular was "Stay on These Roads", which reached number one on the Norwegian chart, and performed well in other European countries. Less popular was the single "Touchy!" and even less popular were "The Blood That Moves The Body" and "You Are The One". The latest single There's Never A Forever Thing didn't make it to any of the national charts at all. In 1992, a remix of the single "The Blood That Moves The Body"was released. The album peaked at number 148 on the US Billboard 200, [5] but none of the singles reached the Billboard Hot 100. He also directed the film "More", for which Pink Floyd also recorded the soundtrack. The CD was recorded in six days in France, at the Chateau d’Erouville. As in the case of the soundtrack to the movie "More", several modified versions of the tracks can be heard on the album. A very rare British original of the iconic album. Peace For Our Time is the second album by the English progressive jazz-rock band Warm Dust, released in 1971 on an obscure label Trend in the UK. In 1971, the album was also released in the USA (UNI Records 73109), Italy (Stateside, EMI Italiana S.p.A 3C 062-92228) - everywhere in the same envelope with a spread, and in Italy also on white vinyl (probably because in April 1971 Warm Dust was awarded a reception by the Pope at the Vatican). This is a concept album, the idea of which is expressed in the title itself, as the cover suggests to us. Under the title Peace For Our Time (Peace for Our Time) attributed to: Neville Chamberlain, September 30, 1938. The story is as follows. On September 30, 1938, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain returned to London after signing the ill-fated Munich Agreement, according to which Germany ate a good piece of Czechoslovakia in the form of the Sudetenland. Chamberlain stood with this document outside the Foreign Office in Downing Street and spoke complacently: "Dear friends, for the second time in our history, an honorable peace returns from Germany to Downing Street. I believe this is the world for our time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and I recommend that you go home and sleep peacefully in your beds." And the next day, Hitler's troops occupied Czechoslovakia, and a year later the Second World War began. Since then, this phrase has been ironic or sarcastic, if you will. ...more
