WARM DUST-PEACE FOR OUR TIME-1970-THE FIRST UK-TREND PRESS-6480001. A very rare British original of the iconic album. Peace For Our Time is the second album by the English progressive jazz-rock band Warm Dust, released in 1971 on an obscure label Trend in the UK. In 1971, the album was also released in the USA (UNI Records 73109), Italy (Stateside, EMI Italiana S.p.A 3C 062-92228) - everywhere in the same envelope with a spread, and in Italy also on white vinyl (probably because in April 1971 Warm Dust was awarded a reception by the Pope at the Vatican). This is a concept album, the idea of which is expressed in the title itself, as the cover suggests to us. Under the title Peace For Our Time (Peace for Our Time) attributed to: Neville Chamberlain, September 30, 1938. The story is as follows. On September 30, 1938, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain returned to London after signing the ill-fated Munich Agreement, according to which Germany ate a good piece of Czechoslovakia in the form of the Sudetenland. Chamberlain stood with this document outside the Foreign Office in Downing Street and spoke complacently: "Dear friends, for the second time in our history, an honorable peace returns from Germany to Downing Street. I believe this is the world for our time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and I recommend that you go home and sleep peacefully in your beds." And the next day, Hitler's troops occupied Czechoslovakia, and a year later the Second World War began. Since then, this phrase has been ironic or sarcastic, if you will. ...more

ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union. A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and in the UK charts it held the first position for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is considered that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album "God Save the Queen" is the anthem of Great Britain arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably completed each concert of the band.
