A very rare original of the cult album..Tourism: Songs from Studios, Stages, Hotelrooms and Other Strange Places is the fourth studio album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on August 28, 1992 by EMI. Despite the fact that Roxette was often mistaken for a live album, the album was described in its comments as a "touring album": the band recorded most of their material in numerous recording studios in between concerts of their world-famous band " Join the Joyride! Excursion". The album contains three live concert recordings, while another track was recorded live in an empty nightclub in Sao Paulo. Two more tracks were recorded in Buenos Aires' The Alvear Palace Hotel.The album received mixed reviews from American publications upon its release, with some confusing its concept and incorrectly describing it as containing only five previously unreleased songs. It also underperformed the Billboard 200, peaking at number 117 on the chart and selling about 278,000 copies-far short of the million-dollar joyride. JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE-ELECTRIC LADYLAND-1968 ORIGINAL PRESS 1973 UK-POLYDOR - 2310269-70. A very early reissue of the album with a re-recorded sound. Electric Ladyland is the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968.Recording the album was accompanied by constant difficulties. After a troubled tour of Scandinavia and England, Hendricks decided to move to the US. Disillusioned with the creative limitations of record companies, he set up his own Studio in new York city, where he could implement all his musical ideas. The construction of the Studio was accompanied by problems, and its construction was finally completed only in the mid-70s.As a result, Jimi recorded the bulk of the material at the Record Plant studios. Due to difficulties in his relationship with the band's bassist, Noel reading, Jimi played most of the bass guitar parts himself, including the bass solo on "1983". During the recording of "All Along the Watchtower", reading went to a nearby bar, Hendrix took his bass and recorded the song."Voodoo Chile "was recorded during Hendrix's late-night jam session featuring Mitch Mitchell, Steve Winwood on Hammond organ, and Jack Casady on bass guitar; it served as the basis for" Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", recorded the following day. The double album "Electric Ladyland" revealed the full breadth of Hendrix's musical talent.
