He also directed the film "More", for which Pink Floyd also recorded the soundtrack. The CD was recorded in six days in France, at the Chateau d’Erouville. As in the case of the soundtrack to the movie "More", several modified versions of the tracks can be heard on the album. After his high-profile 1989 hit album "Trash", Cooper tried to follow up his success with the next album, which featured Lance Bulen, Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars (both from Motley Crüe). Hey Stoopid was Cooper's last album featuring bassist Hugh McDonald before he joined Bon Jovi in 1994.  According to Cooper's assistant Brian Renfield, an alternative cover was initially considered, which Renfield described as "hardcore with syringe needles, pills ..." It is noteworthy that in the track "Feed My Frankenstein" the famous guitar duo of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani plays together accompanied by Nikki Sixx on bass.
