In the story, they are fighting the personified evils of overpopulation, environmental pollution, war, "Pig Business" and "Sacred Cow" (religion), as well as a drug-addicted Monkey. Each of the band members is fighting their own evil, which has been hindering them from the very beginning, only for them to stand out and wreak havoc in another part of the globe.
