A very rare original of the cult album..Tourism: Songs from Studios, Stages, Hotelrooms and Other Strange Places is the fourth studio album by Swedish pop duo Roxette, released on August 28, 1992 by EMI. Despite the fact that Roxette was often mistaken for a live album, the album was described in its comments as a "touring album": the band recorded most of their material in numerous recording studios in between concerts of their world-famous band " Join the Joyride! Excursion". The album contains three live concert recordings, while another track was recorded live in an empty nightclub in Sao Paulo. Two more tracks were recorded in Buenos Aires' The Alvear Palace Hotel.The album received mixed reviews from American publications upon its release, with some confusing its concept and incorrectly describing it as containing only five previously unreleased songs. It also underperformed the Billboard 200, peaking at number 117 on the chart and selling about 278,000 copies-far short of the million-dollar joyride. The album was released in the USA on June 7, 1976 by Capitol Records (catalog number SKBO 11537), in the UK on June 10, 1976 by Parlophone (catalog number PCSP 719); at that time, some media suggested that the album was released on the twentieth anniversary of the first meeting of John Lennon and Paul McCartney. If this was indeed the intention, then EMI made a mistake in their calculations, since in reality these two first met in July 1957. The album's title, Rock ’n’ Roll Music, is most likely taken from a Chuck Berry song, a version of which performed by The Beatles was included on the second side of the album. The album mainly consists of cover versions of songs written by such prominent rock and roll authors and performers of the 1950s as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Carl Perkins and Larry Williams, as well as notable original songs by the Lennon-McCartney duo, such as "Drive My Car", "Revolution", "Back in the U.S.S.R." and "Get Back". Released on February 4, 1991. The last album "Queen", recorded and released during the life of Freddie Mercury. The name Innuendo contains an "indirect hint" that the band will not last long in this line-up. The last songs were very difficult for Freddie, who was already seriously ill. Nevertheless, the album was finished and well received by the public. Several music videos were made in support of him, one of which, "These Are The Days of Our Lives", was the last video featuring Mercury.Despite mixed reviews from critics, Queen's new album peaked at number one on the album charts in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and her native United Kingdom, going double platinum. ...more
