BLIND FAITH-BLIND FAITH-1969-SECOND PRESS UK-POLYDOR-583059. Matrices A-1/B-1. A very rare second press of a cult album in top condition. Blind Faith is the only album by the British rock band of the same name, it was released in August 1969 and immediately topped the charts in the United States and Great Britain. The recording took place in London, first at Morgan Studios, and then at Olympic Studios, under the direction of producer Jimmy Miller. All tracks on this album belong to the band members, except for a cover version of "Well All Right" from Buddy Holly's repertoire. The album received positive reviews from critics, was a great commercial success and immediately topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. The cover of the album published in the UK shows a young topless girl (the younger sister of photographer Bob Seideman, the creator of the cover) holding a model airplane in her hands. In the USA, this picture was considered not quite decent, and the album was also released with an alternative cover, which featured a photo of the band members. In 1967, Richard Stivers and Tom Harris played in the Detroit Vibrations ensemble. Gary Thompson replaced the guitarist, and the line-up included vocalist Tom Beaudry and guitarist Dan Yeley. In 1969, the band changed its name to "Frijid Pink" and began to perform actively.  In late 1969, the band released the single "House Of The Rising Sun", which became a hit. In early 1970, the debut album was released, which took 11th place in America and 1st place in Germany. ...more

A very rare original of the cult album Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One, usually shortened to Lola Versus Powerman or simply Lola, is the eighth studio album by the English rock band The Kinks, released on November 27, 1970. It is a concept album that is a satirical assessment of the music industry, including song publishers, trade unions, the press, accountants, business managers and life on tour. This marked the expansion of the band to five members with the addition of keyboardist John Gosling. Despite the fact that the album Lola Versus Powerman was released during a transitional period for The Kinks, it was a success with both critics and the public, hitting the top 40 in America and bringing the band back into the public eye, becoming a "comeback". A version of the cover with a one-sided laminate.  Disraeli Gears is the second studio album by Cream, recorded from May 11 to May 15 in New York City on the American label Atco, a division of Atlantic Records, and released in November 1967. The album reached the 5th position in the UK chart and the 4th place in America, it features two new singles: "Strange Brew" and "Sunshine of Your Love" (the second of them is considered the best composition of the Cream group for all time). In 2003, VH1 named Disraeli Gears the 87th greatest album of all time.
