In 1967, Richard Stivers and Tom Harris played in the Detroit Vibrations ensemble. Gary Thompson replaced the guitarist, and the line-up included vocalist Tom Beaudry and guitarist Dan Yeley. In 1969, the band changed its name to "Frijid Pink" and began to perform actively.  In late 1969, the band released the single "House Of The Rising Sun", which became a hit. In early 1970, the debut album was released, which took 11th place in America and 1st place in Germany. ...more

A rare British original of the iconic album. Straight Shooter is the second album by the British rock band Bad Company, released on April 2, 1975 by the Island label in the UK and the Swan Song label in the USA. Straight Shooter reached #3 on the UK Albums Chart and Billboard 200 and went gold a month after its release. Two tracks from the album were released as singles "Good Lovin' Gone Bad" (March 1975) and "Feel like Makin' Love" (August 1975), which reached #36 and #10 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. ...more

ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union.
