ROXY MUSIC-HEART STILL BEATING-1990-FIRST PRESS EU (GERMANY)-VIRGIN- 304069.  A rare European original.  Heart Still Beating is the third live album by Roxy Music, released on October 22, 1990. It was recorded during a concert in Frejus, France, on August 27, 1982 as part of a tour in support of Avalon's latest studio album. The album cover features model Amanda Cazalet. The Frejus concert was filmed by Robin Nash for the BBC and released on home video in 1983 under the title The High Road with songs in a different sequence. However, the album The High Road, also released in 1983, consists of audio recordings of another concert of the tour, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, on October 30, 1982. The High Road was discontinued by 1990 and replaced by the album Heart Still Beating, which included both concerts.

The fifth album by the English rock band Supertramp, released in April 1977. It was recorded primarily at Caribou Ranch Studios in Colorado with overdubs, vocals and mixing completed at the Los Angeles recording plant. This was the first Supertramp album featuring engineer Peter Henderson, who would work with the band on the next three albums as well. The album... reached number 16 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart in 1977 and a few months later became the first gold (500,000 copies or more) Supertramp album sold in the United States. Stamper 1G./1G (A Dream!)  A rare British original. Silverhead is a British glam rock band founded in early 1972, led by singer and actor Michael Des Barres. The other band members were: Robbie Blunt (guitar), Rod Rook Davis (guitar, percussion, vocals), Nigel Harrison (bass guitar) and Pete Thompson (drums, percussion, keyboards, vocals). They signed with Deep Purple's Purple Records label and recorded two studio albums, Silverhead (1972) and 16 and Savaged (1973), and were part of the 1970s glam rock music scene. In the UK, they have opened for bands such as Nazareth at Finsbury Park and Osibisa at Brixton Sandown, and have also headlined at Dagenham Roundhouse. Work on the third studio album (working title "Brutiful") began in 1974, but the band broke up in July 1974 before it was finished. ...more

High Time is the second studio album by American rock band MC5, released in 1971 by Atlantic Records. Unfortunately, the 1971 album High Time was the last for MC5. Heavy drugs entered the lives of the band members, and within a year they broke up, moving to other groups. At least two of the participants ended up in federal prison on drug trafficking charges, and they were never reunited until Rob Tyner's untimely death in mid-summer 1992.Although the band's debut album Kick Out the Jams peaked at number 30 on the Billboard 200 chart, their second album stalled at number 137, and High Time proved to be even less commercially successful.  ...more
